Down below, way down deep is a perspective that most will never be able to encounter first hand. We often visualize it and day dream about diving down. Yet something deters us from sinking  that far underwater. Afraid of depths, sea monsters, drowning, sharks or maybe just so land locked that the other fears are too out of reach anyway. Our friend Chris Leidy (Lighning, Light House, Bulb) goes way down there. He goes looking for trouble where the spotted toothy things roam and the only light you’ll see is reflecting from your torch to your mask. Lucky for those who have a hunger for the deep and a simultaneous fear of the creatures that lurk beneath, there is a Leidy that gets way down under trillions of gallons of water for you. Homie brings his camera underwater around the world and finds a way to bring all of the beauty and mystery straight back to the surface for all of us to drool over. Have a look at more of Chris’ work on his site and if you ever find yourself living the good life, passing through in Palm Beach, Florida, poke your head into his gallery and throw the long tall madman a high five from us.
More from Leidy and ourCaste till the end of our days. See you soon.
