As summer turns to fall in New York City, We (Colby Vincent Edwards and Brian Mitchell) got out to chase the first shadows of the season. Starting from the east side of Manhattan and heading west. Zig zagging our way through the maze of taxis as the day shift ends. Trying to find the sun after it disappears from street to street, the skyscrapers acting like giant sundials, venturing into the unknown around the next corner.
After a few months it will be winter and we will have to head even further west to continue this cycle. Coming from the west coast, we take time for granted. We never really worry about the elements, and how it will affect our daily routine. The east coast is another story. With the extreme changes of seasons, and summer seeming like it’s the shortest one, we can’t waste any time.
New York City is a motherfucker, but we can’t imagine calling anywhere else our home.
